The Ghana Football Association has secured a major partnership with JAC Motors and Tryton Motors Limited, in a deal that will see winners and top performers in Ghana’s domestic leagues and national teams rewarded with brand-new cars and cash prizes.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the GFA headquarters in Accra.
Under the partnership, the champions of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League and Women’s Premier League, along with the Black Stars Player of the Season, will each receive a brand-new vehicle from JAC Motors.
Additional cash incentives will go to the Best Player and Best Coach in both the Ghana Premier League and Women’s Premier League, as well as the Best Black Stars Player. The GFA said the awards are designed to motivate excellence and raise the standard of competition across the board.
Speaking on behalf of GFA President Kurt Simeon Okraku, Vice President Mark Addo described the deal as more than a sponsorship contract.

“Today, we celebrate more than a contract with JAC International and Tryton Motors. Today, we celebrate a belief – that Ghana football is worth investing in, and our Ghanaian players deserve the best,” Addo said.
He noted that the partnership gives JAC Motors and Tryton Motors exclusive rights in the automotive category across GFA competitions, with opportunities to run promotions and events tied to the league and national teams. In return, the GFA will provide access to venues and protect the brands’ visibility and intellectual property rights.
The deal covers the Black Stars, the Ghana Premier League, and the Women’s Premier League, and will run through the 2026/27 football season.

“This partnership highlights a shared vision between the GFA, JAC Motors, and Tryton Motors to support excellence, reward performance, and promote the growth of football in Ghana,” Addo added.
Expressing gratitude to the partners, Addo said the investment would strengthen the football ecosystem and inspire players and coaches to perform at their best.
The 2026/27 season kicks off later this year, with the new incentives expected to add extra stakes to the race for league glory and national team recognition.
