Nations FC have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, the club has confirmed.

In a statement released after the final round of matches, the club described the drop to Division One as “a very painful moment for everyone connected to the club.” Nations FC will compete in Division One, Zone 2, during the 2026/27 season.

“We sincerely apologize to our fans, sponsors, partners, and supporters for falling short this season,” the statement read.

The club accepted responsibility for the outcome, noting that despite the effort and commitment shown by players and staff, it was not enough to secure their top-flight status.

“This is not the end of our story,” Nations FC said. “We will regroup, fight, and work tirelessly to bring Nations FC back to where it belongs.

Fans have taken to social media to express disappointment while urging the club to use the setback as a platform for renewal ahead of next season.

Nations FC’s immediate focus will now shift to preparing for Division One, Zone 2, with the aim of securing promotion back to the Ghana Premier League at the first opportunity.
