Dreams FC defeated already-relegated Real Tamale United in their week 28 outstanding fixture at the Theatre of Dreams Ground.

RTU took an early lead through Lord Adabo in the 4th minute. Dreams FC responded three minutes later through Agyenim Boateng Mensah in the 7th minute. Benjamin Bature put Dreams FC in the lead 2-1 in the 11th minute. Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored twice more, on the 32nd and 36th minutes, completing his hat-trick in the first half.

Benjamin Bature scored his second goal in the 46th minute, and a minute later, Ishmael Dede netted his first, putting Dreams FC up 6-1 and out of RTU’s reach.

Agyenim Boateng Mensah struck again in the 73rd and 84th minutes, finishing with 5 goals on the day and making it 8-1 for Dreams FC.

With this win, Dreams FC’s points total has risen to 45, securing their safety and lifting them clear of the relegation zone.
