The National Sports College, Winneba, has successfully concluded its maiden Sports Law Course, with 43 participants graduating from the programme.

The four-day course began on Monday, April 13, 2026, and ended on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the College’s Winneba campus.
The graduating class drew 43 participants — 6 females and 37 males — reflecting a diverse cross-section of the sports industry. Attendees included administrators, club officials, physical education instructors, and former athletes, creating a valuable platform for networking and the exchange of practical experiences.

Sessions were facilitated by Enam Dzakpasu, Antonio Vicente, Andre Costa, Akashi Batra, and Fraser Williamson. Key topics covered included an introduction to sports law and dispute resolution mechanisms, sports contracts and regulatory frameworks, doping, and proceedings at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

College Director Mr. Bawah Fuseini described the course as a significant step toward sports development in Ghana. He urged graduates to apply the knowledge gained to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the sports industry.
