The Minifootball Association of Ghana has landed a major partnership deal with Ghanaian sportswear brand Suniel being unveiled as its Official Kit Sponsor.
The unveiling ceremony was held at a press conference in Accra on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Under the agreement, Suniel will provide full kitting for all national minifootball teams, both male and female, ahead of upcoming local and international assignments.
President of the Minifootball Association, Bernard Paakow Ekumah, expressed gratitude to Suniel for supporting the development of the sport. He described the deal as a timely intervention that will give minifootball a more professional image and called on other corporate institutions to come on board.

“Suniel has believed in the growth of this sport. This partnership will give minifootball a professional look and we appeal to more corporate bodies to support,” Mr. Ekumah said.
Chief Executive Officer of Suniel, Daniel Kotey Adjei, said the company is proud to be associated with one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, adding that the partnership goes beyond kits.

“We are not just sponsoring kits, we are sponsoring dreams. Minifootball brings football closer to the people and Suniel wants to be part of that journey. Our brand stands for excellence, youth empowerment and community development, values that align perfectly with minifootball,” he said.
The Director General of the National Sports Authority, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, commended Suniel for the support, describing it as a step in the right direction for the growth of minifootball in Ghana.
