Vision FC has booked qualification from Division One League Zone 3 to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. Vision FC needed to beat the Prampram-based club, Uncle ‘T’ United, in order to confirm their qualification to the Ghana Premier League next season.
Vision FC got a penalty in the opening three minutes, but Habib Ganiyu missed. The game went on until the 41st minute when Gideon Offei scored the opener. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the host. The visitors responded in the 60th minute through Felix Doku Narh. However, the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Elliot Afotey received a red card in the 68th minute. A determined Vision FC got their second penalty of the day in the 80th minute, and Frank Doku stepped up to convert it in the 83rd minute, making it 2-1 for the host, which was enough to secure the needed result for qualification. Uncle T United also needed a win to boost their survival chances, but it didn’t work out, and now they must beat Kotoku Royals in their Week 30 fixture at home to increase their chances of survival.
Vision FC has picked up 55 points from 29 games, scoring 45 goals and conceding 26, in the 2023/24 Access Bank Division 1 League Zone 3. They are the highest-scoring side in the Access Bank Division One League across all zones. Vision FC will end the season on the road, traveling to Akim Oda to play Susubiribi SC.
