Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko has thrown his weight behind in-form midfielder Salim Adams, saying the Black Stars need his skills.
“Salim Adams is a complete midfielder and we don’t have his type in the Black Stars,” Tanko said, backing Adams for a national team call-up.
Adams, who has been in top form for Medeama, is ecstatic about the coach’s endorsement. “It’s positive for me, this shows I’m doing well, so I have to keep pushing,” he said. “I’m 100% prepared for a Black Stars call-up.”
The midfielder’s stellar performances in the Ghana Premier League have caught the attention of the technical team, and Tanko believes it’s just a matter of time before Adams gets the nod.
