The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has partnered with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Rambell to give 220 Ghanaian supporters the opportunity to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. The initiative, launched on November 4, 2025, at the GFA Headquarters, will see fans participate in a national raffle campaign dubbed “World Cup Bonanza.

The World Cup Bonanza offers Ghanaian fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Black Stars at the global football showpiece in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The raffle, supervised by the NLA, aims to recognize the passion and unwavering support of Ghanaian fans.

GFA President Kurt Okraku highlighted the importance of the initiative, saying, “Having ensured that Ghana will be at the Mundial, it’s essential for us at the FA not to think about ourselves but to think about the country, especially the 12th man. The supporters must come with us.”

To participate, fans can enter the raffle by purchasing tickets via USSD code *899*899#. Winners will enjoy a subsidized flight, free accommodation, match tickets for Ghana’s three group games, and comprehensive visa application support.
The NLA has assured Ghanaians that the raffle will be transparent and fair. “We believe that Ghanaians who take the opportunity of participating in this all-important game will be provided with that needed transparency,” said Mohammed Abdul-Salam, Director General of NLA.

Rockson Konde, representing the Board Chairman of Rambell, invited every Ghanaian to participate in the raffle. “Today, I invite every Ghanaian to take his or her phone, and dial *899*899# And just join the board. Let’s show the world the strength of Ghanaian spirit, our love for football, and our belief in fair play.”

The first draw will be on Friday, November 16, 2025, and the last draw will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026. After which, the winners’ documents will be processed for the trip.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in fan engagement and national pride, giving Ghanaians the chance to not only support the Black Stars from the stands but also share in the global excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
