Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced a 24-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali. The team includes key players such as Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Gideon Mensah, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams.
New inclusions in the squad include Union Berlin left-back Derrick Arthur Köhn, who had an impressive season with Werder Bremen, and winger Kamal Deen Sulemana, who has made a bright start with Atalanta in Italy. Elisha Owusu returns to the squad after recovering from a long-term injury, while young talents Caleb Yirenkyi, Christopher Bonsu Baah, and goalkeeper Joseph Anang earn their spots.
Defender Tariq Lamptey also returns to the side. Ghana currently tops Group I in the African Qualifiers with 15 points. The Black Stars will face Chad on September 4 at Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno, followed by a match against Mali on September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
