The Tema-based club True Democracy FC won the Greater Accra Division 2 Middle League after beating Danbort FC 1-0 in the final at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Kwasi Mensah. Danbort FC fought hard to equalize, but their efforts were not enough, and True Democracy held on for a narrow win.
True Democracy will represent Greater Accra in the 2024/25 Access Bank Division 1 league in Zone for the first time in the club’s history.
The winners of the middle league, True Democracy FC, received gold medals, a trophy, and a cash prize of GHc 8,000.00, while the runners-up, Danbort FC, also received silver medals and an amount of GHc 5,000.00.
