Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has dismissed reports alleging that the club has placed a transfer valuation on goalkeeper Benjamin Asare following his impressive performances for Ghana at the FIFA World Cup.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Phobians described the reports circulating in the media and on social media as “false and without factual basis.”
“The Club wishes to state, unequivocally, that these reports are false and without factual basis. Accra Hearts of Oak has not placed any valuation on Benjamin Asare, and has not authorised any individual or media outlet to communicate a transfer fee or asking price on its behalf,” the statement read.

While denying any fixed price, Hearts of Oak said it remains a professionally run club that is open to discussions that benefit both the player and the club.
“As a professionally run football club, Hearts of Oak remains open to receiving and considering offers that serve the best interests of both the player and the Club. However, no official valuation has been communicated at this time, and any figures currently in circulation are speculative,” management noted.
The club urged supporters, stakeholders, and the media to disregard unverified reports about Asare’s transfer value. It also encouraged media organisations to confirm information through official Hearts of Oak channels prior to publication.
Hearts of Oak further praised Asare for his exploits on the international stage, reaffirming their commitment to his development.
“Accra Hearts of Oak remains immensely proud of Benjamin Asare’s achievements and congratulates him on his outstanding performances on the international stage. The Club remains fully committed to supporting his continued development, while safeguarding the integrity of its operations.
“Benjamin Asare’s heroics for the Black Stars at the World Cup have sparked intense transfer speculation, with several reports linking the shot-stopper to clubs abroad.
