Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz says the Black Stars’ work is only just beginning despite earning a hard-fought 0-0 draw against England at the World Cup.

The point at Gillette Stadium lifted Ghana to four points in Group L and kept their knockout hopes alive, but Queiroz was quick to play down expectations.
“We haven’t won anything yet,” he said after the match. “We’re just on our way to the main goal, which is qualifying for the second round of the World Cup.”
Ghana’s progression will be decided in their final group game against Croatia on June 28. A win would seal a spot in the Round of 16.
Queiroz dedicated Tuesday’s performance to Ghanaian supporters and praised the team’s defensive discipline, highlighting goalkeeper Benjamin Asare’s clean sheet and solid displays from Jerome Opoku, Jonas Adjetey, Marvin Senaya and Gideon Mensah.
“Points at this World Cup are terribly expensive,” the coach added. “When you get one, you have to fight for it. Now we recover and focus on Croatia.”
