Nations FC have confirmed the exit of head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso and assistant Aboagye Dacosta following a review of their 2025/26 season.

The club announced the decision on Tuesday, thanking both coaches for their service during a campaign that ended in mixed fortunes. While Nations FC suffered relegation from the Ghana Premier League, they bowed out with silverware after lifting the MTN FA Cup — the first major trophy in the club’s history.
“The Club expresses its appreciation to both coaches for their service, and contribution to our historic FA Cup triumph,” the statement read. “We extend our best wishes in their professional journey ahead.”

The 2025/26 GPL campaign proved tough for the Abrankese-based side, with results on the pitch not matching expectations. Relegation ended their stay in the top flight.
But the FA Cup run delivered redemption. Nations FC’s victory in the final gave the club its maiden piece of silverware and secured a spot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup, despite dropping to Division One.
