Port City FC will not relocate to Accra for their maiden Ghana Premier League campaign, CEO Francis Ofori-Mensah has confirmed.
The newly promoted side will continue to use the Daasebre Boamah Darko II Park in Akim Kukurantumi as their home venue for the 2026/27 season, despite suggestions from some fans that a move to Greater Accra would befit their new top-flight status.
Ofori-Mensah, popularly known as “Pusher”, dismissed the idea outright.

“If you come to Daasebre Boamah Darko II Park and see the kind of facility we have put in place, do you think we will move our venue to any other place? No. We are not moving anywhere. We will be with you people here in Kukurantumi,” he said.

Looking ahead to the Premier League, Ofori-Mensah confirmed plans to strengthen the team.
“We will add one or two players to augment the weaker positions. If we get at least five or six players to add to the current squad, it will do us a lot of good,” he added.
Port City sealed the 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League Zone Three title with two games to spare, earning a historic first promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

The club travels to Tema Newtown to face True Democracy on Sunday, May 10, 2026, before officially closing out their Division One campaign at home on May 17, 2026, at Daasebre Boamah Darko II Park.
