Ghana’s journey to the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals in London is officially underway, with the national women’s team, the Black Loopers, having arrived in London for the global showpiece.

The travel update was communicated by Nathaniel Kwesi Somuah, Head of Communications of the Ghana Table Tennis Association, as Ghana begins its campaign at the prestigious championship.

Three players namely Eva Adom-Amankwaa, Joanita Borteye and Emerald Bortey successfully made the trip and have safely arrived in London to represent Ghana at the ongoing championship.The trio is being accompanied by Coach Eva Ampah, with Efua Oforiwaa Owusu-Agyei serving as chaperone.

Their arrival marks the beginning of Ghana’s campaign on the world stage, where the Black Loopers will test themselves against some of the strongest table tennis nations across the globe.The team is set to begin its campaign today with a crucial encounter against Angola, as Ghana looks to make a strong statement in the competition.

The Black Loopers carry not only rackets and ambition but the hopes of a nation eager to see its flag represented with pride at one of the sport’s biggest events.With the team now in London and ready for action, Ghana’s quest for excellence at the World Team Championships is fully in motion.
