Accra-based football club, Hearts of Oak, has announced that defender Rocky Dwamena has successfully undergone anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The surgery, performed using arthroscopy, a minimally invasive technique, was led by Dr. Ocloo, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon. The procedure was completed without complications, and Dwamena is set to begin his rehabilitation program under the club’s medical team.
Dwamena sustained the knee injury while playing for Hearts against Bibiani GoldStars in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The defender is in high spirits and determined to return stronger for the team. Hearts of Oak wishes Rocky a smooth and speedy recovery and looks forward to welcoming him back to action.
