Ghana’s athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Gabriel Tiacoh Continental Tour held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on July 5, 2025, winning a total of four medals – one gold and three silver.

The men’s sprint events saw Ghana’s athletes deliver outstanding performances, highlighting their talent and skill:

  • Edwin Kwabla Gadayi sprinted to silver in the 200m, clocking 20.91 seconds.
  • Solomon Diafo claimed silver in the 400m with a solid time of 46.95 seconds.

In the high jump event, Ghana’s athletes dominated:

  • Ebenezer Gyimah cleared a height of 2.15m to claim the gold medal.
  • Francis Ennin followed closely with a leap of 2.00m, earning silver and completing a Ghanaian 1-2 finish on the podium.
  • Sarfo Ansah finished 4th in the men’s 100m with a time of 10.82 seconds, holding his own in a competitive field.
