As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, I extend warm wishes to all sports families. This special occasion is a time for reflection, renewal, and unity.

I’m committed to supporting our athletes, federations, and governing bodies. I call for the endorsement of Mr. Richard Akpokavie as the next GOC President, given his exceptional leadership and experience.

As I seek re-election, I reaffirm my commitment to serving all stakeholders. My goals include:

  • Reestablishing international collaborations for capacity building
  • Reviving diplomatic partnerships for sports development
  • Constructing a modern indoor sports emporium in Amasaman

The current GOC President’s decision not to seek re-election has opened a new window for unity. I appreciate his decision and look forward to building a stronger sports fraternity.

Wishing everyone happiness, unity, peace, and prosperity on this Eid al-Fitr. Let’s renew our commitment to sports development and work together for a stronger future.

Eid Mubarak!

The elective congress is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre, Committee Hall 1.
