The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has announced the opening of nominations for its 2025 elective congress. Aspiring candidates can submit their nominations from Friday, March 28, 2025, to Friday, April 16, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day.
Nomination forms have been sent to members via email and are also available at the GOC office located at Ridge, Accra. Duly authorized representatives of members can request forms, which must be delivered to the GOC Office at Ridge, Accra by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2025.
The list of nominees and delegates will be published no later than April 22, 2025. An Independent Election Commission, comprising Peter Zwennes, Ibrahim Ali, and DCOP Lydia Donkor, will oversee the election process.
The GOC will hold an extraordinary congress on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, Committee Hall 1. The elective congress is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the same venue.
The following nominations shall be for the positions listed below, in accordance with Article 8 of the Ghana Olympic Committee Constitution.
