The Ghana Badminton team successfully defended their title at the 2024 All Africa Badminton Junior (U-19) Championship in Senegal.

The Ghana mixed relay team faced off against Benin. The Ghanaian team, comprising talented young players Addo Leslie Nii Adote, Adu-Mintah Obapomba, Ankrah Jonathan, Amofa Andy, Adu Moslena Ama Korama, Quarcoo Racheal, and Awa Camara, showed exceptional teamwork and strategy, ultimately emerging victorious with a score of 60-50.

In the men’s triple team event, Addo Leslie Nii Adote, Adu-Mintah Obapomba, and Ankrah Jonathan ensured Ghana defeated South Africa 3-1, grabbing the gold medal and solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in African badminton.

The women’s triple was equally impressive, as Ghana took on Algeria in the final. The Ghanaian women, Adu Moslena Ama Korama, Quarcoo Racheal, and Awa Camara, showed remarkable skill and determination, winning 3-1 and securing another gold medal for their country.
