Former Ashanti Gold Football Club player, Seth Osei, has finally broken his silence amidst swirling allegations of receiving money from Kotoko, a club he has publicly supported. In a spirited response, Osei vehemently denies the accusations, setting the record straight on his dealings with Kotoko and other clubs.

“I never received any money from Kotoko; they should let me be in peace.”Everybody knows I support Kotoko; I’ve even said that on radio, so there’s no way I’d disgrace Kotoko, never.”

“I didn’t receive any money from Kotoko supporters for my mom’s funeral, so the supporters should stop tarnishing my name because nothing like that happened.”

“The only money I received was from Hearts of Oak diaspora who sent me ¢9,500, and even that, they didn’t ask me to come and play for the club”.

”Only Otumfuo can stop me from playing for Kotoko; apart from that, no supporter can say they won’t allow me to play for Kotoko. They should stop that because they can’t destroy me.”
