Jordan Ayew, the hat-trick hero, has revealed that both the national team coaches and his club coaches have been playing him out of his natural position. He made this revelation after scoring a hat-trick against Central African Republic on Monday, June 10th at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, which helped Ghana secure a 4-3 win in their World Cup qualifier.
“I’ve been playing out of position for quite some time in the national team and also at the club level. But I have always done my duty, put my country first, and never complained because I always give my all.”
“It’s difficult. It’s not something that I like to talk about, but obviously my favorite position right from the academy, France, in the national team has always been as a number 9.
“But I understand because I have qualities that allow me to play in the pockets of spaces, and I don’t complain.”
Jordan Ayew marked his 100th appearance with his second hat-trick for the Black Stars, with his first coming in 2014 during a friendly against South Korea before the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.”
