The Hasaacas Ladies team will compete in the fourth WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers

After winning their fifth Premier League title, Hasaacas Ladies from Ghana are set to compete in the fourth edition of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers for the second time. Their championship win came with a 2-1 victory over Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League finals at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The Doooo family, former champions of the inaugural WAFU Zone B tournament, will compete in the qualifiers with the aim of returning to the African stage. The qualifying tournament will determine which team will secure a spot in the main championship.

The fourth edition of WAFU Zone B, scheduled for August 10-23, 2024, in Côte d’Ivoire, will feature champions from seven countries: Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Togo, Niger, and the host country, Côte d’Ivoire. They will vie for the single slot allocated to the region for the African stage of the competition.
