The Public Relations Officer of the Ayew family, Fiifi Tackie, has debunked reports in the media space that the Ayew brothers, Jordan and Andre, are resigning from the Black Stars, stating that these reports are completely false.
Those rumors started circulating after the Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew’s name was omitted from the Black Stars team that will be playing the FIFA World double hurdle against Mali on June 5th in Bamako, and against Central African Republic on the 10th in Kumasi.
Fiifi Tackie used his social media platform, Facebook, for the publication; he stated:

“Andre has had a remarkable season, scoring 6 goals in all competitions, and is currently enjoying a well-deserved holiday”.
“Jordan is currently in the camp of the national team and he is proud and honored to be part of the team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic”.
