Ghana Premier League Title Race Intensifies

Medeama SC’s lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table has been trimmed to a single point after a goalless draw against Swedru All Blacks. The Tarkwa-based outfit remains in first place with 46 points, but reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC are closing in with 45 points, following a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak.

Gold Stars’ victory marks their fourth consecutive league win, showcasing their growing momentum in the title race. Samuel Atta Kumi scored for Gold Stars, while Henry Kwaku Boateng equalized for Hearts of Oak before Augustine Boakye struck the winner.

Asante Kotoko were frustrated in a goalless stalemate against Vision FC, despite dominating possession. The Porcupine Warriors remain fourth, seven points off the summit.

Other notable results include Dreams FC’s 1-0 win over Aduana FC, Hohoe United’s 1-0 victory over FC Samartex 1996, and Basake Holy Stars FC’s narrow win over Heart of Lions.
