The New Juaben Table Tennis Club has presented the esteemed 49th SWAG Award for “Dedication and Valor” to Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, Omanhene of the New Juaben traditional area and life Patron of the Club.
The presentation took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, during the Akwasidae festival, a significant celebration commemorating the ancestors of the New Juaben people.
Mr. Emmanuel Obiri Minta, Club organizer, highlighted Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III’s substantial contributions to the club, including securing a training hall. He also emphasized the positive impact of table tennis on the region, country, and continent.
The club announced its upcoming “Golden Cherry/NJTTC Eastern Close Tournament” and presented Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III with a customized jersey. The event was attended by notable figures, including Nana Asante Boateng I and Mr. Ernest Wiredu, CEO of Golden Cherry.
