The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Hockey teams have begun their campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) in Ismailia, Egypt. The tournament, which runs from January 30 to February 7, brings together the best hockey clubs on the continent, with GRA competing in both the men’s and women’s divisions.

The GRA Women’s Team, the defending champions of the ACCC, are looking to retain their title after an impressive 2024 season, where they also clinched the Greater Accra Hockey League trophy. Their captain, who recently won the Hockey Female Player of the Year at the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards, is expected to play a crucial role in leading the team to another historic victory.

In their opening match, the GRA Women’s team started strong with a 4-1 win over Kada Queens from Nigeria, showcasing their dominance in African club hockey. Meanwhile, the GRA men’s team also made a statement with a thrilling 6-5 victory against United States International University (USIU) from Kenya, proving their determination to make an impact in the tournament.

As the competition progresses, GRA’s teams will aim to maintain their momentum and bring home another continental title for Ghana.
