Despite being his debut season in Division 1, the 20-year-old Sefah showcased glimpses of brilliance from the start, excelling in both central and attacking midfield roles.

On the 33rd minute, Sefah located and assisted former Asante Kotoko striker Dickson Afoakwa, who equalized for Rainmasters FC. Seven minutes later, Sefah found Afoakwa again, setting up his second goal and giving Rainmasters FC a 2-1 lead.

True Democracy FC equalized two minutes later, making the score 2-2. With the referee signaling five minutes of added time, many expected the first half to end in a stalemate. However, Sefah’s brilliance had other plans.

In stoppage time, Sefah delivered another exceptional pass, finding captain Emmanuel Bonsu unmarked. Bonsu beautifully curled the ball into the net, restoring Rainmasters FC’s lead (45+5′). This stunning goal broke the hearts of the host team, True Democracy.

Sefah’s first-half performance was unstoppable. He was substituted off in the 63rd minute to rest.

Sefah’s versatility allows him to play both central and attacking midfield roles. His outstanding display promises quality football for Rainmasters FC fans and opposing defenses in the 2024/25 season and beyond.

Rainmasters FC will host Na God FC at the Koforidua Sports Stadium in matchday 2 of the 2024/25 Access Bank Division 1 league.
