The 2023/2024 season was super for Dreams FC, and against all odds, they reached the semi-final of the CAF Confederations Cup, which got a lot of football fans talking.

In an interview with ace broadcaster Professor George Kuntu Blankson on Takoradi-based Skyy Power 93.5 FM, Coach Karim Zito said, “John Antwi had a lot of offers, and I seriously wanted him to leave. I even tried some negotiations for him.

I am seriously preparing for the new season. As it stands, John Antwi, Abdul Aziz Issah, Egyir, Abdul Jalilu, McCarthy Ofori, and Agyenim Boateng aren’t part of my plans.

Seriously, if he gets a new club, that is ok, but if not, we are still ok with him. Every good coach must do an analysis of his team at the end of the season and plan for the future.
