Cynthia Kwabi lifted the Sheroes 2 Singles title on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, with a commanding 4-1 win over Joanita Borteye at the DG Hathramani Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kwabi’s victory was a testament to her tactical prowess, as she outmaneuvered her opponents in each round, including a 3-0 thrashing of Millicent Mettle, a 4-1 win over Celia Baah Danso, and a 4-2 triumph over Hilda Agbottah in the semifinals.
“It was a tough game, but I was well-prepared,” Kwabi said. “I knew I had to be tactical and take it one step at a time. My target is always to win, and I’m glad I came out on top.”
Kwabi’s triumph marks a significant statement in the Sheroes Series, adding a new champion to the growing legacy of the tournament. The victory sets the tone for the upcoming “Show Time” edition of the Sheroes Series on February 21, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Augustina Baidoo’s quest for a third consecutive Sheroes title came to an end, as the two-time champion settled for a joint third-place finish.
Joanita Borteye finished as runner-up, while Hilda Agbottah and Augustina Baidoo claimed joint third-place honors.
“I’m very satisfied with my performance,” Borteye said. “It was an improvement over last week’s performance. I was training, and today I placed second, so I’m very happy for myself.”
