The Ghana Chess Association (GCA) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the National Chess Championship held recently in the capital. The tournament, which drew the nation’s elite players to Accra, served as a masterclass in strategy, mental endurance, and sportsmanship.

The Women’s Category saw Woman Candidate Master (WCM) Maud Benson reclaim her dominance, taking the title with a solid 7 points. Meanwhile, the future of Ghanaian chess looks brighter than ever as Bernard Biney Otoo claimed the Juniors Category title with an impressive display of tactical skill.
