Organized by the Ghana Rugby Ladies, the gathering brought women from diverse backgrounds to share their passion for rugby and promote women’s empowerment in the sport.

According to Ms. Rafatu Inusah, Women’s Representative on the Ghana Rugby Board, the event was a resounding success. Women united to play, have fun, and discuss the future of women’s rugby in Ghana.

Inusah praised the attendees, saying, “Despite it being a holiday, the dedicated ladies showed up to play rugby and celebrate women in rugby.”

The event featured various activities, including a 7s rugby tournament, beach cleanup, pillow fights, tag and war games, and a bottle flip challenge.

The Ghana Rugby Football Union is dedicated to promoting women’s rugby and providing opportunities for women to participate.
