Crystal Palace gradually gained momentum in the second half, with Eberechi Eze’s shot narrowly missing the target. The Eagles eventually equalized in the 80th minute through Jean-Philippe Mateta, who tapped in from close range after Eze’s precise pass.
The draw leaves Chelsea fourth in the table, while Crystal Palace climbs to 15th, extending their unbeaten run in the league to three games.
