The Black Maidens will lock horns with Ivory Coast in the semifinals of the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup on Thursday at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
The Maidens secured their spot in the semifinals after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Benin on Saturday. They awaited the outcome of the match between Nigeria and Ivory Coast to determine their semifinal opponents.
Following Ivory Coast’s 3-2 loss to Nigeria on Monday, December 16, they placed second in their group, setting up the clash with Ghana in the semifinals.
The Black Maidens have been in impressive form, winning all their group matches while scoring 7 goals and conceding 3.
In the other semifinal encounter, Nigeria will face Benin.
Both matches will be played at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
