Nsoatreman FC made history by qualifying for the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round with a resounding 5-0 aggregate win over Elect Sport from Chad. In the return leg, played away in Camerron, Nsoatreman FC dominated the game, scoring two goals to seal their victory.
The first goal came in the 32nd minute of the first half, courtesy of Walid Neymar Fuseini, who broke the deadlock with a stunning strike. The away team continued to press for more goals, but Elect Sport’s defence held firm until the 81st minute, when Stephen Diyou scored the second goal, securing a 2-0 win for Nsoatreman FC.
This victory, combined with their 3-0 win in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, meant that Nsoatreman FC qualified for the next round with an impressive 5-0 aggregate score.
The Ghanaian team will now face either Police FC from Rwanda or Constantine from Algeria in the final knockout stage, with their sights set on advancing even further in the competition.
