Danny List Foundation Sponsors Young Ghanaian Golfer Julienne Afi Amezado

Supporting the next generation of golfing talent, the Danny List Foundation has proudly sponsored young Ghanaian golfer Julienne Afi Amezado to compete in the prestigious Grove Junior Open in Hertfordshire, UK. With the foundation’s backing, Julienne is set to represent Ghana on the international stage, fulfilling her dreams and inspiring others to take up the sport. The Grove Junior Open is slated for August 14th, 2024, in Hertfordshire, UK.

In a press conference at the Adamus Resource Center in Accra, the Patron of the Danny List Foundation, Angela List, presented a dummy check for an undisclosed amount to support Julienne Afi on her journey to the UK to represent Ghana at the Grove Junior Open. Mrs. List indicated that she feels so elated to see such a young golfer represent Ghana in the UK and that the Danny List Foundation feels good about partnering with the Fafali Organization to help the young girl fulfill her dream.

“I am proud to say that Danny List has chosen to collaborate with the Fafali organisation to sponsor Afi to play in the Grove Junior Open. Afi, I wish you all the best. I have no doubt that you will bring the cup back, and Danny List is looking forward to meeting to celebrate your success. I think it’s really important to encourage youngsters of today to get into the sport, and I am exceptionally proud to have a young girl to represent us.”

Julienne Afi Amezado thanks the Patron, Angela List, and the Danny List Foundation for giving her the opportunity to represent Ghana. She has vowed to make the Danny List Foundation and Ghana proud at the Grove Junior Open.

I feel so good about representing Ghana and getting a sponsorship from Danny List, and I feel like I am going to make him proud and Ghana as well. The Grove Junior Open tournament is an annual individual medal event that forms part of the Hertfordshire Golf Union Order of Merit, providing an opportunity for golfers to test their skills on one of England’s finest luxury golf courses.
