Each of these schools has been a winner in their respective zones. The winners would be invited to represent the region at the Regional Schools Festival in September in the Western Region.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Yeboah Evans, President of the Ghana Badminton Association, who was present at the event, “admonished the spiral growth of the sport across the country and advised the students to take advantage of the numerous educational and sports benefits the sport provides and participate in Badminton Schools Championship events. It was a perfect time as a team; just playing together was nice, and they had competitive fun about the sport.”
