Okwawu United confirms the appointment of the former Home Stars coach, who has signed a 2-year deal with the Asase Aban family.

Coach Sulley holds a CAF license B certificate and has extensive experience in Division one zone 3. He has coached Vision FC and Heart of Lions, and last season, he guided newly promoted side Home Stars to a 6th place position. He recently resigned as the Head coach of Home Stars.

The Asase Aban family believes that Coach Sulley possesses the quality to bring Okwawu United to the Ghana Premier League.

“With a coaching stint at Kpando Heart of Lions during their rise to the Premier League, we hope Coach Sulley Adamu will work similar magic at his new club.”

Okwawu United finished as runners-up in the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League with 52 points, 6 points behind the winner, Vision FC.

Okwawu United earlier today issued a statement assigning Prince Owusu, their former head coach, to a technical advisory role due to his personal engagement outside of Ghana.
