The Volta Regional Football Association Division 2 middle league set up Inter Allies vs WAFA in the final on Sunday at the Ho Sports Stadium.
Inter Allies were in Group A with Kpetoe Diamonds FC, Likpe Heroes FC, Nazareth FC, in which they managed 7 out of the possible 9 points to win the group and qualified them for their second successive final in the middle league.
WAFA Emerges Victorious in Group B with 7 Points, Outshining Selion FC, Keta FC, and Sons of Thunder FC.
WAFA and Inter Allies were all in the Sub-Middle League Southern sector B where WAFA won the group with 9 points followed by Inter Allies with 4 points. WAFA defeated Inter Allies 1-0 in the process.
WAFA are unbeaten throughout the entire season in the Volta Regional Football Second Division League. They will go all out and try to pick the ticket to represent Volta Region in the 2024/25 Access Bank Division 1 League in zone 3.
Inter Allies were in the final of the 2022/23 season, where they lost on penalties to Ho-based club Home Stars. They will now make their second attempt to qualify and represent Volta Region in the 2024/25 Access Bank Division 1 League.
