Ghana wins bronze at the Africa Tug of War Championships

Ghana won bronze at the 10th African Tug of War Championship, which just ended in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The Ghanaian team was represented by Akroso Senior High Technical School from the Eastern Region.

Team Ghana departed on June 17, 2024, for the competition, which took place from June 19 to 22, 2024.

Ghana competed in the men’s 640KG category, ultimately emerging as second runners-up.

The team was welcomed by the President of Ghana Tug of War, Emmanuel Olla Williams, who arrived on Monday, 24th June 2024, at the Kotoka International Airport.
