The club’s CEO says seven Ghana Premier League clubs and one European team have written to them for the service of their captain Saaka Dauda.

In an interview with Power FM, Bofoakwa Tano’s CEO, Alexander Ababio, revealed that “Hearts of Oak and seven other teams, including a European club, are vying for Saaka Dauda’s signature”.

He added that Bofoakwa Tano’s current focus is on the MTN FA Cup final against Nsoatreman United on Sunday, June 23, 2024. The game’s outcome will determine whether they release their players, but he acknowledged that nine players are in high demand by Ghanaian clubs.

“If we win the FA Cup, we will keep our players because of Africa. If we don’t, we can’t keep some of the players because so many teams are after them. We have to let them go and continue their careers elsewhere.”
