FC Samartex 1996 were crowned champions of the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League campaign after defeating Accra Lions 2-0 on the final matchday of the season.
Former Tema Youth attacker, Emmanuel Mammah, gave the Timber Giants an early lead within the first three minutes. The league champions got their second goal in the 87th minute from Ebenezer Ocran.
FC Samartex have officially secured their spot to represent Ghana in the 2024/25 CAF Inter Club Competition.
