The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday, will stage the draw for engaged teams in the Beach Soccer Afcon Qualifiers to Egypt 2024.
16 teams will compete in 2 rounds, starting from 28th to 30th June and 19th to 28th July.
The national team of Ghana nicknamed the Black Sharks have participated in three Beach Soccer Afcon; Morocco 2013, Seychelles 2015 and Nigeria 2017.
However the team has failed to make it to subsequent tournaments since the Lagos edition and would be seeking to qualify from probably the toughest field yet.
These include perennial winners Senegal, North African giants Egypt and Morocco as well as Libya Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda and Tanzania.
Other teams set for the draw are Malawi, Ivory Coast, Burundi, Angola, Guinea, Nigeria, Mauritania and 2015 Afcon hosts Seychelles.
