Young Apostles emerged as winners in Division One, Zone One after beating Techiman Heroes 4-3 in dramatic fashion. The normal regulation time ended 1-1. Young Apostles opened the scoring after just eight minutes through Kassim Sule, while Mohammed Adams equalized in the 41st minute for Techiman Heroes.

Techiman Heroes scored their first three penalties, while Young Apostles scored just one from their first three. Techiman Heroes needed to score just one from their last two penalties, but couldn’t utilize their opportunity. They missed all, and Young Apostles took advantage to bring it level. Techiman Heroes again missed their sixth penalty, and Young Apostles made no mistake, scoring the winner and qualifying for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
