Most Popular

FC Samartex 1996 has secured a historic achievement in the Ghana Premier League after narrowly beating Bibiani Gold Stars FC 1-0 at home on Sunday, thanks to former Tema Youth attacker Emmanuel Mamah’s first-half strike for the Timbers.

The Nsenkyire Stadium has been thrown into spontaneous jubilation with celebration expected to go deep into the night.

Samartex needed to avoid defeat against Gold Stars to secure the Premier League trophy after second place team Aduana Stars were defeated by Bechem United on Saturday at Bechem, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

FC Samartex has picked 58 points from 32 games, scoring 41 goals and conceded 24 in the process with two games to go.
